Relationships : Is It Mutual And Respectful?

When I was still a child I loved drama a lot. I mean Nollywood.
But now that I'm a Man, old things have passed away and everything has become new.
.
I used to believe in the foolishness of HARD TO GET.
You know some ladies believe that you have to go through the valley of the shadow of death, just to earn their affection.
They believe that you will appreciate them more, that way.
So I have seen men who would even jump into the lagoon to prove love.
Yours truly was once in that faculty, but I graduated.
.
HARD TO GET does not make a single sense to me anymore.
A grown arse woman should know what she wants.
I don't think she should engage in the emotional shenanigans of immatured gals.
If you see what you want, you just go for it.
That is wisdom and maturity.
I used to give one sided love.
You know that kind of love where there is no reciprocity.
You just keep loving and proving to the other party. You will run yourself mad that way.
.
Love is a mutual deal.
It shouldn't be one-sided.
It is true that one person will have to initiate it, but there should be a corresponding action to that effect from the other party.
One-sided love is unhealthy and it falls short of the standard of Performing Love.
Love those who love you.
That is how you will save yourself from drama.
Don't be giving your precious jewels to undeserving pigs.
Don't you know that is it scornful to give love to someone who is not ready to reciprocate.

I love my life and sanity.
I can't use my self as a script for a love tragedy.
I love those who love me, not those who don't.
This is why I don't waste my energy chasing after those who are not into me.
I need my whole-ness, so that I can offer it to those who are equally crazy about me.
This should be your mindset too.
There is nothing heroic about conquering someone who is not into you.
You might get injured in the process.
Why should you be an emotional casualty?
Discover those who are into you, they are the ones that can take a bullet for you.
