EPISODE 6

About an hour later, the boys returned with several yellow nylons filled with food, drinks and other edibles.
They also got us pizza and ice cream from dominos/cold stone.
We got out of the pool in excitement, hungry and ready to devour.
They went upstairs, before they found us behind the house.
 The excitement on their faces showed they loved what they were seeing…3 gorgeous looking girls in bikinis, smoking hot and dripping water.
 I can only imagine the joy in their hearts. We all sat outside at the grass court to enjoy the food and drinks.
They couldn’t take their eyes off us. Stanley winked at me several times as I smiled and blushed.


Later in the evening, he took us to the cinemas to see a movie.
 I got to see the beautiful city of Lagos. The town looked lovely, nice edifices, flashy cars and a busy city.
We experienced traffic jam several times before we got to Shoprite Lekki, where the cinema was situated.
 The movie ended by past 9pm, we were all tired and needed to sleep.
He drove us back to the house.
We all slept in separate rooms as he kissed me goodnight.
He was such a gentleman.
He wasn’t in a rush and I loved that. “Goodnight dear” he said.
 “You too honey. Happy birthday in advance” I said to him as he smiled and left the room.

In the morning, before the boys woke up, we made breakfast from the things we found in the store.
Chidinma and I woke up much earlier, we decided to surprise the birthday boy at least by preparing some homemade meal.
We found our way to the kitchen and found a store.
 Opened it and saw varieties of foodstuffs stocked away.
 Can foods, rice, noodles, spaghetti, various spices, crates of egg, drinks…name it.
 The room was fully stocked.
 I am sure Stanley wasn't aware of that. Boys mostly stay away from the kitchen.


We quickly agreed to make spaghetti.
We opened the big deep freezer and saw cartons of chicken, turkey, and other meats, neatly stored and frozen.
We quickly got to work because I didn’t want the boys to be awake before we finished.
 It was to be a surprise, a perfect way to start his day.
By 8am, we were done. Spaghetti laced with some vegetables and served with stewed turkey.
I am a wonderful cook, a skill I inherited from my grandma and mum.
We just finished when Anita found us in the kitchen…yawning “Hey girls.
What are you girls up to?
 I woke up few minutes ago and I didn’t see either of you in your rooms and I figured maybe you girls slept in the same room with the boys”.
 She said while sniffing into the air.


“Something smells so good here” she said and yawned again.
Nma and I just burst into laughter. “Are you sure it’s not hunger that woke you up?” Foodie! Chidinma teased her.
They quickly helped me to set the table before I went upstairs to wake my prince charming.
I knocked gently before opening the door, he was already awake but doing some pushups.
 He was shirtless and I could see his biceps. He was looking so hot, six-packs intact and nice muscles just the way I have imagined.
He looked like one of the porn stars in my porn world. I quickly snapped to reality. “Hi handsome. Happy birthday!” I said to him and hugged him.
He was a little sweaty but I didn’t mind. We kissed briefly before we were interrupted by Andrew and the girls.
They all walked in to felicitate with him. Happy birthday songs filled the air.
 He was a bit shy as we sang for him.


Then I led everyone downstairs to the dining table.
The boys were surprised at what they saw. ‘Happy birthday baby” I said again to him as I pulled the chair back for him to sit. I treated him like a king, served his food and poured him some drinks. Chidinma did same for Andrew.
 Anita was just watching and smiling.
The boys complimented our meal as we ate in silence and exchanged glances at intervals.


After the meals, Stanley laid the plans for the day, by 12noon, we'd be going to grab some ice-cream and pizza (I love ice-creams), then we would head to ‘Lekki conversation center’ for some site seeing, will hit the cinemas again before we finally hit ‘Quilox’ (a popular night club) in the heart of Victoria island, Lagos.
 We were pretty excited.
 I was enjoying the good life.
 Things I hadn't done before, I will end up doing in one day.
The kind of life you only watch in movies. My mind flashed to my sweet parents and wondered why they wanted to shield me from all the fun activities of life.


 No going back I said to myself. I will enjoy life to the fullest… After we cleared the table and washed the dishes, we joined the boys in the sitting room to play some card games.
Stanley was surprised how I found all the foodstuffs.
 He didn’t know his mum stocked up the kitchen. How will you know? I said to him. Spoilt brat! I teased him as he jumped on me, tickled me and chased me round the house with a throw-pillow.
I screamed as I ran for my life…
