Whenever I hear a Naija lady say anything about marrying the man she loves, I just hmph!. . .
and maybe throw a little pity party on behalf of any man that didn't take that with a pinch of salt.

While it can be said that most Naija men married or will marry the women they love, same can't be said about most Naija ladies that most likely married or will marry the men they found Ready.
And in most cases, these Ready men aren't the ones they love.
That, excusably because Age isn't just a number with them, but also a factor capable of stopping the entrance of Men into their lives as suitors, known as Men-o-Pause.

So my broda,
for your heart sake, be kiaful with seeing a future with that babe of yours just because she loves you, when you know you won't be "ready" in due time;
that outcome is wishful thinking at best, and cannot be guaranteed with our Naija ladies biko.
Because when societal age starts messing with her head while she is waiting for you, as has been the case most of the times,
and a Ready toaster cum suitor appears in the picture, then you'll know that
Patience is not a virtue but a former Naijarian President's wife.

I can imagine how frustrating it is for women to not marry the hot guys they truly loved, just because he ain't ready yet.
These women end up struggling to love the new husband who is scarraly in love, not knowing that his Iyawo's heart is with one bobo somewhere.

At that age, they don't spend time catching feelings when there is no marriage prospect with some certain guy.
They ve seen it all.
Their hearts are ready to love the man that would come for their hand in marriage.
