''Mama, I'm not God that gives children'' replied Clara
amidst tears, where do you want me to get ch..ch..
"Shut up, dont talk while I'm talking, interrupted Mike's
mother"..
This is the normal argument that ensues between Clara and
Mike's mum.
Mike and Clara have been married for 15years without any
child.
While Mike came from a rich home, had a rough lifestyle,
could be passed for a play boy because he was always
changing different girls, Clara was a calm sweet girl.
Mike met Clara in one of his cousin's wedding ceremony.
They exchanged phone numbers and have been good
friends ever since. From good friends, they started dating.
While Clara was being faithful, Mike was unfaithful cause he
still had sex with different girls. Since he was very rich, and
girls wanted him, they did everything within their power to
hold him down.
About 20girls had told him they are pregnant for him ,but
he denied all.
He loved Clara but just couldnt stop himself from sleeping
with other women.
He proposed to Clara, and yes she accepted. He loved her
no lies and he tried his best to make her happy, but he
couldnt stop his cheating acts
(lemme chip in here, if a guy cheats on you while dating,
there's no miracle that will make him stop when married,
its like a habit, its hard to drop, have heard guys say they
wanna flex when young and single so as to be faithful while
married, big lie, you are only gonna get worse)..
Back to the story, they seemed happy together, 2years
passed and no kids, not even a miscarriage from Clara.
Mike's mum wasnt helping out too, she was really giving
Clara a tough time.
Clara on the other hand has done series of tests, yet the
result keeps reading the same thing, there was nothing
wrong with her, shes perfectly fine, says the Doctor.
Mike started acting strange, he stopped hiding the ladies
he had sex with, he will bring them to his home, and sleep
with them on their matrimonial bed.
When Clara tries to fight, she gets the beating of her life.
She was fed up but she didnt think divorce was an option.
She believed God would do it for her, She seeked the help
of some relationship pages on social media, they kept
telling her to pray, to dress sexy, to always cook her
husband's favorite meal.
She was tired of hearing it...
Mike was giving her problems as well as his mum, like that
wasnt enough, Mike's sisters would bring their friends for
him to sleep with and possibly make a choice.
Clara didn't have a say in the family anymore. She just
stayed and felt hopeless.
Mike's mum had to bring a wife for her son. Clara was
moved to the boy's quaters, leaving the new wife in the
main house. She was married to Mike for a year and no
kids, Mike threw her out. And still continued flexing with
other women.
Clara looked older than her age, she was depressed and
sad. She was mocked by friends, she wasnt happy, she
couldnt even remember the last time she smiled.
15years of marriage and still no miracle. She finally
accepted maybe she was never meant to have kids. She
had gotten used to the insults from Mike, and his family.
She grew a thick skin to the insults. She would only smile
but deep down she was hurting.
She was arranging stuffs in the house.
She stumbled on a hospital test result dated years ago, a
year after she got married to Mike.
The result was stating that Mike was impotent and wouldnt
be able to father a child.
she couldnt believe her eyes.
Her husband was impotent and never told her.? Yet she
was mocked and called barren while Mike was at fault...
She waited for Mike to come back home, she assembled
all of them together and broke the news in tears.
Mama couldnt believe. Even the sisters.
Mike was the cause all along but pretended and treated
her bad, she wanted a divorce and needed it fast.
Mama was begging her not to leave, that it will bring
shame to the family.
Telling her that God gives children and he will give her own
In tears,
"what family, mama? Do you know the insults and curse
have received from you?"
"You called me a man mama,did I deserve all that? Tell
me...
