Time For A Rethink

In light of the recent Xenophobic attacks in South Africa, it is pertinent to say that the timing of the recently concluded general elections in Nigeria couldn't have been more perfect.
Nigerians as a people and as a nation that prides itself on strong moral ethics, should never have to suffer at the hands of baseless animals like those currently setting innocent foreigners on fire in South Africa.

If all sectors of the Nigerian economy had been functioning properly as it ought to, there'd be absolutely no need for a Nigerian to go to a country like South Africa to live and work.
Nigeria is blessed with more than enough resources to cater for the needs of her people, yet the people live in abject poverty and pains.

Since gaining independence in 1960, there has been little to no development in any sector of the Nigerian economy.
The average Nigerian lives on less than a dollar per day, despite the abundance of natural and human resources.
Nigerians can look forward to the incoming government and hope for a brighter future, but the time has come for us all, both at home and in diaspora to stand and say no to continued corruption and manipulations.
Enough is enough.
Nigerians are done listening to lies being told by the government while just simply accepting whatever is thrown at them.

The incoming government owe to the people to truly effect a change for once.
We cannot continue to live in plenty, yet suffer.
Nigeria is big enough and rich enough in natural resources to accommodate and cater for all Africans if the resources are well managed.
Over to you Mr President.
Nigerians are waiting patiently to see what you have in store for us.
Our time is now!
